* NEWSFLASH*

THE VICTORIA INN has been chosen by The Guardian and The Observer to feature in their guide to the 200 best of British Summer Pubs 13th and 14th June 2009

Tim Hore & Liz Sheldon welcome you to the Victoria Inn, Salcombe.

The town of Salcombe in South Devon has long been a popular destination for family holidays and the sailing fraternity as well as short breaks all year round thanks to it’s warm climate, stunning location and wonderful character.

Situated in the middle of the high street and just a pebble’s throw from the water’s edge, The Victoria Inn is perfectly situated to offer you the opportunity to relax with a drink and a meal after a days sightseeing or sailing.

As experienced publicans you will find an inviting welcome with great customer service at the Victoria Inn. Roaring log fires in the main bar will warm you in the winter, and in the milder weather - the amazing best kept secret of Salcombe, a huge family garden with shaded terrace and an incredible enclosed children’s play area - ALSO a new edition to the Victoria Inn  - our very own Chickens!

The Victoria Inn offers a diverse selection of real ales, wines and spirits - not forgetting non-alcoholic drinks and fabulous coffee. We are rightly proud of our reputation for fantastic food with the menu changing constantly to reflect the availability of local produce, especially the freshest fish landed locally.  Wherever possible we use local West Country produce - especially our meat, cheeses and ice cream.  There’s now free Wi-Fi access as well.

No visit to Salcombe would be complete without a visit to the Victoria Inn - come once and we guarantee you’ll want to visit again!!  Bookings for the restaurant are welcomed and advisable.
