Tim & Liz Hore invite you to visit them and stay at their Award Winning Pub in Salcombe and the only accommodation in the middle of town!
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAID:
April 2013: Warm, cosy & clean - no breakfast, but what the heck!
May 2013: Right in the middle of town - superb
June 2013: Will definitely return!!
The ‘Hobbit House’ (so called because of its unique low front door) is set in the beautiful pub garden grounds the Hobbit House offers two rooms; one double and one twin – both en-suite with shower rooms. Both of these rooms offer you respite from today’s busy world, yet set in the middle of Salcombe and only twenty steps from our great bar and restaurant.
Comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, television with CD and DVD player, heated towel rails, fluffy towels and hairdryers will ensure everything you need is to hand.
The price you see is for room only, but there are plenty of great places in Salcombe for Breakfast.
Unfortunately, as much as we love dogs in our pub we have decided that dogs can't be allowed in the accommodation.
There are a couple of things to bear in mind before you book with us:
The accomodation is up a short flight of iron steps, so are probably unsuitable if you are elderly and /or infirm. In the twin room you may experience a slight hum from the cellar underneath during opening hours and times of cellar use. This may bother you if you're a very light sleeper, but guests have told us that the seagulls make more noise than the cellar!
Lastly, as with many other parts of our country, parking is an absolute premium here is Salcombe. There is a short one hour stay / overnight car park directly opposite the Victoria Inn but longer term car parking is less than ten minutes walk away.
Prices are from £40 to £70 per room per night but there is NO single occupancy reduction
