Behind the façade of the Victoria Inn is the mostamazing hidden garden. A glorious covered seating area, two sun terraces, huge grassy area’s and best of all – a fabulous children’s play area! The children will just love playing on the slide and climbing frame, whilst a little further up the garden are Chickens and Ducks that will keep them entranced for ages. In the summer, Liz encourages the children to take part in feeding the animals. In the height of summer fabulous BBQ’s are held out in the garden to help you make the most of being outside in the warmer weather, and there are lots of other new ideas planned for al fresco dining in our glorious outdoor area. As well as welcoming children to the Victoria Inn we absolutely adore dogs, and welcome them in into our bar as well as well as the garden. We ourselves have two Cockerpoos; Rosie the black one and Archie the golden one. Bowls of fresh water are around for our thirsty canine visitors and if your dogs are good then they’ll find a little doggie treat behind the bar for them. If they’re especially good then Liz has been known to sneak into the kitchen and get a tasty morsel – if Chef isn’t looking of course. |
