Our menu is developed and built around our love of the fantastic produce we have right here on our doorstep - both from the sea and the beautiful lush surrounding countryside.  We have built great relationships with local suppliers who know what produce is excellent as the seasons change and we change our menu's accordingly! 

We are proud to have a fantastic team of people in our kitchen that is led so ably by Head Chef Tania. 
 
Traditional, Quality and Value are key words in every aspect of our business, and we believe in going the extra inch every time - particularly where our food & menu's are concerned 
 
Anyone with a dietary requirement outside of what we offer on the menu or a special request can almost always be catered for - you just have to ask
 
The majority of our food is sourced from within the wonderful larder of the West Country wherever possible. Our meat comes from Cattle grazing on the the lush green fields of Cornwall and Devon 
 
We’re right by the sea so of course we use as much fresh Fish as possible, and sourced predominantly from two of the most respected firms in the business; S & J Fisheries and Kingfisher -  they are as passionate about Fish as we are!  

The Crab? We use fresh from Salcombe Crab Traders literally 10 minutes away from us! 

Milk, cream, cheese and eggs are also from the West Country where possible and some of the eggs we use are from our own Chickens at the top of the pubs garden!  

We are proud to have retained the Taste of the West Gold Award for the 4th year running. Silver Award by Devon Tourism Awards for Pub of the Year 2015 and Bronze for South West Tourism Pub of the Year 2015
