We've just started making this years Jam again, so once again, you'll be able to take home a little taste of the Victoria Inn!
Our menu reflects the fact we are by the sea and yet close to the country and we source our ingredients from here in the West Country as much as possible. The majority of our Beef comes from a farm just 5 miles away, most of our Fish is caught locally from Salcombe fishermen or from our supplier in Brixham.
The Vegetables are mostly from the West Country and much of the Bread we use is baked daily by a local baker!
Even some of our Eggs come from the Chickens in our back garden here at the Victoria Inn. We keep the preparation and cooking of our produce simple, producing bags of flavour and taste. There’s nothing too frilly or fancy – just good honest wholesome cooking! We laso offer a 'Shop Mates' menu for little ones - again, nothing frozen or processed, just good wholesome food.
We are working hard to ensure our Sunday lunches are the very best in the South Hams area. Our meats are cooked first thing Sunday morning - there's always Sirloin of Beef and great Loin of Pork. Plenty of fabulous Roast Potatoes, home-made Yorkshire Puds, lots of fresh Vegetables, Cauliflower Cheese, and a gravy you’ll be asking the recipe for! Some weeks we'll even have a 'special' Roast!
