At the Victoria Inn, we aim to source the best local
ingredients and keep the preparation and cooking of
them relatively simple, to produce bags of flavour and
taste on the plate. There’s nothing too frilly or fancy –
just good honest wholesome cooking!
Our executive chef, James Chapman works hard with
his team to make sure that our menu reflects the fact
we are by the sea and close to the country – so great
fish dishes and fabulous cuts of meat. We don’t forget vegetarians either and try to
ensure something a little bit special for you!
We have a great, regularly changing ‘Specials Board’ with exciting meat, game,
poultry, fish and shellfish creations. Our cheeses are generally West Country in origin
and represent the best available from a number of
local suppliers, and all of our desserts are homemade.
Our Sunday lunches are the best in the South Hams
area and regularly offer a choice of three meats,
plenty of fabulous crisp ‘roasties, with home made
Yorkshire puds, roast parsnips, plenty of fresh
vegetables, and a gravy you’ll want the recipe for!
